Workout Log Free Guide

About Workout Log Free

Workout Log Free is an independent, self-funded project run by the small team that builds and maintains the site. We are not coaches, physiotherapists or clinicians, and we do not claim to be: nothing here is medical advice, and you will not find invented credentials or a stock-photo expert on this page.

The site exists because logging a workout should not require an account. Most free trackers ask for an email before you can type a single set, cap what you can save, and put export behind a subscription. The tools here run entirely in your browser, store your log in that browser's local storage, and hand it back as a CSV whenever you ask.

Two sorts of numbers appear on the site and both are sourced. Calculations come from published formulas, named on the page: estimated one-rep max uses the Epley formula, weight × (1 + reps ÷ 30), and session volume is weight × reps summed across your sets. Each is covered by automated tests against worked examples that run before any change is published. Training guidance is quoted from the CDC physical activity guidelines for adults and linked where it appears, rather than paraphrased from other fitness sites. Guideline pages are rechecked against the source at least twice a year and after any known update.

If a number looks wrong, or a tool misbehaves on your device, tell us through the contact page and include what you entered. Corrections are made on the page rather than quietly.
